Transforming numerical data into a user-friendly experience

Our team was tasked with transforming public salary data into an engaging, location-based storytelling experience. The product visualized the highest-paid public employees across all 50 states, revealing that college coaches—not governors—often held the top spot. As the UX lead, I drove research, wireframes, layouts, design, prototypes, and QA, shaping how users explored, understood, and compared complex data through an intuitive, visually driven interface.
